Sure and it was a great day for the Little League. On Saturday, March 17, 250 Little League parents attended a St. Patrick's Day Dance co-sponsored by the American Legion and the Little League.

Charles Link and Chester Speziale, Little League coaches, made arrangement for the dance. Decorations from the land of Erin and music by an orchestra provided a festive setting. The dance was held for the purpose of having Little League parents meet the coaches. From 10 to 1 all "Irish eyes were smiling."
