GEN. T. H. BAYLY'S SPEECH.
We are indebted to our friend for a copy of his admirable speech on the Joint Resolution providing for giving the notice to terminate the Convention between Great Britain and the United States, relative to the Joint Occupation of Oregon. We wish it was in our power to lay this admirable argument as a whole before our readers, but our limits forbid. It occupies upwards of nine columns of closely printed matter in the Union. We shall, perhaps, before long be placed in circumstances to give such articles a full space. Nous verrons.
