Excitement at Glenbrook.

The people of Glenbrook are wild with excitement over the discovery of rich gold-bearing quartz. Some weeks ago an old prospector discovered a gold-bearing lead. He showed a specimen of his discovery to the lumbermen, who looked upon him as crazy.

The ore assayed $101 to the ton in gold, and the crank of two weeks ago is now looked upon as a wonderful man, and is in reality the only sane person at Glenbrook, the others being crazed with excitement. Men are out on snowshoes looking for quartz and the country for miles around is being located.—[Carson Tribune.
