Full Text

Note to ask my sister to inform my husband that I saw a peach of a new floor lamp and bridge lamp to match to light up our living room at Christmas time. Last, but not least, there were two or three stores where I could purchase all the Christmas wrappings, string, and stickers that I might need for wrapping all my gifts.

Well—when I finished, I was so exhilarated to think of all the time I'd saved—not to speak of the low prices in all the stores I had visited—that I decided to call the editor of the Gazette, informing him of my particular experience. He turned the tables on me, however, and asked me to transmit my delight to my fellow shoppers, and that is the reason why this letter has been written.
