BOOKS FOR CHILDREN LISTED

One Thousand Named in Circular of U. S. Bureau of Education.

"One Thousand Good Books for Children" is the title of circular No. 1 of the Home Education series of the United States Bureau of Education.

These books are graded and classified by the National Congress of Mothers' Literature Committee of which Alice M. Jordan is chairman.

This list was prepared in response to requests from parents for help in the selection of books for their children.

Copies of the list may be secured from the United States Bureau of Education, Washington, D. C.
