The Liquor Question at Bellows Falls.

July 23d the Bellows Falls grand juror made seizure of liquors at Town's hotel. The proprietor claimed that the cause was personal enmity and promptly closed, leaving Bellows Falls since without hotels of any kind. A petition for a special town meeting was issued the same day, signed by a large number of citizens, for the purpose of electing a juror in place of Slate. A meeting was largely attended, and they elected Lieutenant M. Reid in place of Slate, without a dissenting voice, the meeting not being in session over ten minutes. The hotels have opened to the public again.
