Confirms the Account formerly given, of the
Dec. 6. A Letter from Dublin concerning the British Privateer, Capt. Spence, fitted out by Messrs. Coleman and Barton, of Port-Royal, Jamaica, of about Six Pounders and 80 Men, being on a Cruise, 25 Leagues to the Westward of Jamaica, having engaged an American Privateer for about an Hour and a half, when the American blew up. Capt. Spence took the Sturdy Beggar, Capt. Parson, from Boston, mounted twenty-two Guns, and 200 Men. The Hero had 18 Men killed, and 20 wounded.
