BREAKS LEG PLAYING BALL

Sunday afternoon as Roland Stewart who resides on the Sauk Centre-Melrose road, was practicing kitten ball with the McCormick Lake team, preparatory to meeting the Sauk Centre business men July 4th, he suffered a very painful accident.

While running between bases he stepped into a hole and was thrown to the ground. It was first thought that he had dislocated his right ankle but an X-ray diagnosis Tuesday morning disclosed the fact that the ankle joint was broken and that the limb was also fractured in another place. While the fracture has been reduced and Roland is getting along fine, he will be compelled to root for his pals from the side lines in the July 4th game.
