Groceries Here, There, Everywhere

Groceries littered the intersection at Chene and Mack last Friday when a grocery delivery truck rammed into the back of a junk cart, dashing it and the horse to the street.

Frank Keenan, 25, 6370 13th St., the truck driver, sped away after hitting the cart and ran a red light, smashing into two cars. The drivers were uninjured.

The junk wagon driver, Jesse Lee, 65, 937 Mack, is in Receiving Hospital suffering from a hip injury. Keenan suffered back and head injuries and was ticketed for reckless driving.
