Full Text

Mr. Dempster again sang to a numerous audience, at the Temple, last Thursday evening. Those who hear him once appear to be unwilling to stay away when he repeats his gratifying entertainments. That beautiful song, the "May Queen," was given at his last concert with great effect; the second part, especially, was most charmingly sung. We are gratified to perceive that Mr. Dempster's sweet and unaffected style of singing is so well appreciated by the people of Portsmouth; and we doubt not, when he shall again visit us, (as we hope he will often do,) that they will always greet him with a hearty welcome.
