CITY SCHOOLS CLOSE BECAUSE OF FLU.

Supt. J. J. Hartley announced that London City Schools closed at the end of classes Tuesday for the remainder of the week because of illness of teachers and several pupils.

The decision came after many teachers failed to report for classes and called in that they were ill. Classes were held Monday and Tuesday with limited teachers and substitutes.

Jonathan Alder Schools in the northern end of the county were reportedly hit hard by flu this week, but had announced no closing.
