Serbian Army Compelled to Evacuate Monastir.
Athens, Dec. 6.—Part of the Serbian army of General Vassich, retiring from the region of Monastir, has crossed the frontier and taken refuge in Greece.
These forces, it was semi-officially stated, will be allowed to pass through Greek territory and rejoin the Anglo-French forces near Guevgeli.
With the fall of Monastir the Serbs have relinquished practically their last grip on Serbian territory. Both in the north and south the Serbian armies have eluded their pursuers and have escaped intact across the Albanian frontier, fighting their way through snow filled mountain passes.
Troops that did not cross into Greece are moving westward to form a junction with other Serb forces resting on the Albanian frontier.
