EDITORIAL
Looking into the Junior High Gym last Friday night you would have seen a colorful noisy and happy crowd having a grand time at the third annual school carnival.
The money raised by these carnivals has been used by the school for improvements in the various activities of the school.
This year's money will be used to buy musical instruments and for securing an additional lyceum or two. The carnival was a great success and everyone there had a grand time going through the hall of terrors, buying at the country store, tooting horns and wearing silly hats. The Tom Thumb show and the one-act play were both very good and furnished many laughs, also the athletic shows and the hamburger pop, and candy stands were not to be overlooked.
Then, if the noise and crowd got too much for you there was the tea room which was restful and you could have your fortune told. The high spot of the evening was the crowning of Faye Sprague, the queen. The grand march followed with Faye Sprague, the queen, and Robert Rydholm, the senior class president, leading; then followed the other three candidates and their escorts: then the senior high and the junior high.
This led into an evening of dancing.
