Advices from London of the 14th of July, mention, that WILLIAM SPRY, Doctor of Laws, is appointed Judge of the Court of Vice Admiralty throughout all America, with a concurrency of Powers with the several Judges of Vice Admiralty Courts already appointed or to be appointed in each Province.

The above Appointment is agreeable to the Act of Parliament, of the 4th of his present Majesty. which enacts, that all Forfeitures and Penalties inflicted by any Act of Parliament relating to the Trade and Revenues of the British Colonies, and which shall be incurred there, shall and may be prosecuted, sued for, and recovered in any Court of Record, or in any Court of Admiralty in the said Colonies or Plantations, where such Offence shall be committed, or any Court of Vice Admiralty which may or shall be appointed over all America, at the Election of the Informer or prosecutor.
