PRACTICAL QUESTIONS.
No. 8.
Do you pray in your family? Every family should have an altar from which "morning and evening" should go up the incense of prayer. This is a practice fraught with good, It tends to promote domestic quiet, to increase watchfulness, and to cherish a love for religious duties. No trifling circumstance should prevent its observance. Neither visitors or ordinary business should be allowed to interfere with it. Nor should any member of the family be permitted to absent himself when "the daily sacrifice" is offered. The above is an important question to such as have a "household" to "rule."
Will they regard it?
