On motion of Mr. Hough, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
Resolved, That this society will attend in a body the procession and mass-meeting on Tuesday next, and a committee, consisting of two from the Government Printing Office and one from each of the other offices, to be appointed to make the necessary arrangements therefor, with power to add to their number if necessary.
The President appointed the following gentlemen as said committee:
Government Printing Office, Messrs. Halleck and Donaldson; Intelligencer, Mr. Bennet; Chronicle, Robert Penman; Republican, John Nelson; Star, Joseph Hamacher; Gibson Bros., Mr. Schley; McGill & Witherow, Mr. Davis; Constitutional Union, L. M. B. Cooke; Polkinhorn's, Gideon & Pearson's, Globe, C. I. Candell; Mr. Moore's, Mr. Medary; Times, Mr. Smend; Department Offices, Norval W. King.
Daniel Harbaugh was appointed marshal on the part of the Society. He was also, on motion, added to the Committee of Arrangements; and the society adjourned.
