We hear from Williamsburg (in Virginia.) That the Little Carpenter, the Raven, and several other Cherokee Indians, who lately arrived from their nation, set out homeward the 20th of last month, after receiving some presents. During their stay there, they had some conference with the Governor and Council, and the intent of their journey, we are told, was to solicit a trade from Virginia, the path from Carolina to their country being spoiled by the Creeks, who have killed several of their people ; that they are therefore determined to go to war against them, and would be glad to be aided by their brothers the English, several of whom have lately been murdered by the Creeks also.
