The Mission Rangers Saddle Club had their regular meeting last Thursday evening. Bob Gullickson appointed Archie Anderson as a director for 1958. It was decided that when the Band Boosters had a breakfast that the Saddle Club will ride to it, and Max Harris was appointed to contact the Band Boosters and to notify the Saddle Club of the time and place of the breakfast.
It was also decided to have a horseback ride up Valley Creek and to invite the Jocko Valley Saddle Club to ride with the Mission club. President Gullickson asked Mr. and Mrs. Marion Morin and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stevens to be hostesses for this ride which will be on Sunday June 29th weather permitting.
We are to meet at ten o'clock at the corrals above the former Pete Moder ranch. The lunch will be potluck and Mrs. Morin will drive a jeep to carry the food.
Transportation of horses was discussed and anyone not having a way to get their mount to the meeting place may contact either C. W. Mercer or Walter Riley who are taking trucks and have places for more horses.
Reports from all the Park Ride committees were heard and all the Park Ride business was successfully finished. Mr. and Mrs. Morin and Mr. and Mrs. Stevens served delicious lunch at the close of the meeting.
