Dear Sir:
Kindly read in "The Home Journal" of Nov. 5th under "The Mortar Pestle" what the vice-president of the V.I. Senate, as leader of the Unity Party writes, and see if you think as I do, that it is an ultimatum from that party to the Executive.
True enough the article says that, the Governor's decision is to maintain SEPARATE but equal status between the Legislature and the Executive. but it does not say that the Legislature arrived at any such decision. I think if the members of the Legislature did decide that to call a special session of the Legislature was a SEPARATE power granted to the Executive by our Organic Act. they would have met around the table with the Executive. and there discussed the matter as equals. but in as much as it pleases the leader of the majority party of our senate to openly force his opinions on the Executive as he does in the above mentioned article. then there is something in the mortar beside the pestle

Main Argument
the vice-president's article in 'the home journal' constitutes an ultimatum from the unity party to the executive, as it imposes opinions without collaborative discussion on the separation of powers under the organic act.
