The regular meeting date of the Divide P. T. A. was November 25th but was postponed until November 27th so as to be in conjunction with the Thanksgiving community dinner, at the Divide school house.
Mrs. Cornell, president, and Mrs. Alleorn, acting chairman of the program committee should be complimented for the excellent program rendered at this gathering.
Those taking part in the program were: Bernice Siefert, Bernice and Verna Alleorn, Mrs. Stigile, Joe Siefert, Fay Cornell, Mildred Airhood, Lewis Schultz, Rev. Hooper and Mrs. McCluakey.
The only thing regrettable was that Rev. Hooper was not given a chicken bone before speaking for we are sure he cut his talk short on account of having his mind on the table spread before him. As to the dinner--it was a real Thanksgiving meal and there was not a thing lacking.
The business meeting was held after dinner.
The weather was anything but nice but there was a good attendance and everyone enjoyed every minute of the meeting.
The next meeting will be held December 31st in the evening, in association with a New Years party. Visitors are always welcome. Let's turn out, everybody.
