SCOUT COMMITTEE TO MEET WITH LEGION

An invitation to the Boy Scout Advisory Committee to meet with them next Tuesday evening in the Dugout was voted by members of Merlin Elmer Palmer Post No. 6, American Legion, at their meeting last Tuesday evening. An invitation likewise has been extended the Petersburg Post to visit the Wrangell Post January 20, a return engagement for the recent great welcome given the local Legionnaires at the neighbor city.

Sunday the Legionnaires will turn to with the other citizens of the community to get the skating pool in shape while some of the members plan to route out a possible Scout cabin site and trail in connection with the proposed CCC activity here this winter.
