Urges Use of Mountain Time.
El Paso, Tex., June 17.-The use of Mountain time in this railroad district was urged today by representatives of the railroads entering El Paso at a hearing held by J. Money, representing the Interstate Commerce commission which is now making a study of the time charts in use by railroads throughout the country. The use of mountain time as far east as Sanderson, Tex., on the G. H. & S. A. to Yuma, Ariz., on the Southern Pacific and to Seligman, N. M., on the Santa Fe was recommended to the commissioner.
