Now, Lewisburg is a mighty neat
Town on the Susquehanna
Where many things you'll find are good
Original in manner;
And Market is a famous street
That runs quite through the town,
Where dwell many people, small and great
In stature and renown:
There stands a noble edifice,
With architecture high,
For though it rests upon the ground,
It points up to the sky
And in its sacred, pleasant walls,
Its youth Sabbath day
Then pour out joy love to congregate
Who think it the right way.
The dead, over by their over reposed
Jepielun yf Jayrd oes dral,
That now arr sleeping, undisturbed
in a mute rural bed,
Yet four bour tomb-ruprs still retain,
