S A L E M, July 31.

The Vice President of the Council of New-Jersey on receiving an official account of the late revolt of the Pennsylvania troops, immediately summoned a meeting of the inhabitants of Trenton, and the vicinity who, together with those of Princetown, unanimously expressed their utmost abhorrence of the gross and daring insult offered to Congress, the Supreme Government of the American Union: and cheerfully pledged their lives and fortunes to the government, in whatever way their services might be required, whether in repelling foreign invasion, or quelling intestine tumults.
