Full Text

FALMOUTH, March 23.

"We hear from Gorham, that Mr. Stephen Harris of that town, has lost four children of the throat distemper—the eldest in the eleventh year of her age, and the youngest in her third. What makes this dispensation of Providence the more affecting, is, that his wife was brought to bed five days after the death of the first child; the next day after, another died; on the second day from the death of this, a third died; and next day after, the fourth. Under this pressure of grief she now lays dangerously ill."
