With a general average of 98.14, Lincoln school led in attendance for the fourth six-weeks period, it is announced by H. B. Field, superintendent of schools.
Field school was second with 96.82, followed by Roosevelt with 93.53. A banner was awarded Lincoln school.
There are 271 boys and 272 girls attending the city schools, Mr. Field said. The percentage of attendance for the entire system was 97.73.
The ten teachers reporting highest attendance records are Barbara Sanderson, 99.52; Loretta Jarussi, 99.45; Florence McIntosh, 99.26; Lillian Jarussi, 98.54; A. T. Jenkins, 98.19; Lillian Reeder, 98.19; Abigail Doran, 98.13; Estelle Provinse, 97.83; Elizabeth Larkin, 97.27, and Mayme Anderson, 97.01.
Miss Sanderson was awarded a pennant for the record of her pupils.
