State Officers to Get Pay.

Jefferson City—The ghost will walk for several members of the supreme court and other state officers and employes, as a result of a resolution adopted in the house and senate this morning, authorizing the auditor and treasurer to pay salaries to these officials in advance of the passage of the appropriations act.

No opposition developed to the resolution in the senate, but Mr. Lloyd, of St. Louis, chairman of the appropriations committee, spoke against it in the house.
