WOMAN OF THE WEEK

Ruby Pinkney of El Centro deserves to be nominated as the woman of the week for her war work—Mrs. Pinkney not only has a job, eight hours a day, but she does all her own house work, takes care of her children, mans an observation post every other week, gets up at 5 a.m. every Thursday as a member of the Red Cross, motor corps to transport air raid observers to an outlying post, does her other motor corps duties including weekly drill, has a Camp Fire group, and with all this, manages to find spare time to do a little crocheting.
