SETTLEMENT
FOR $7,000.

Mrs. Frederickson to Receive That Amount for the Death of Her Husband.

Mrs. Peter Frederickson and her lawyer have decided to accept an offer of $7,000 made by the Central railroad in settlement of the suit instituted by J. E. Stricker, acting for Mrs. Frederickson, for the death of her husband, who was killed by a train at the Sewaren depot several weeks ago. This result of the negotiations is considered highly favorable to both Lawyer Stricker and Mrs. Frederickson, and shows the desire of the railroad officials to keep the case from going to trial. The sum of $7,000 is an increase over the first offer submitted by the company. The money is expected to be received today or tomorrow.
