After repeated meetings of the Inhabitants of this Town, (which were uncommonly full) for the purpose of considering of the proposed new Form of Government for this State, there appeared, after full deliberation and discussion of the plan, only five persons in favour of any alterations, all the rest were for the Constitution as it stands.
The meeting stands adjourned to Monday the 24th instant, at 11 o'clock, A.M. to give any Inhabitant not then present, an opportunity to declare their sentiments concerning this important matter. It is hoped none will be so regardless of their lives, liberties or property, as not to give punctual attendance.
