WEST VIRGINIA CROP NEWS.
Blackberries are 20 cents per gallon at Martinsburg, and 80 to $1.00 per bushel at Braxton C. H.
Crop prospects were never better in Braxton.
In Upshur, the wheat crop is not large but generally good; grass good; corn very fine, and potatoes good. Apple crop fair.
In Calhoun, the crops are reported very promising. Wheat was thin but well headed. Fruit will be plenty.
In Cabell county, the corn reported as looking remarkably fine. Harvesting and haying are about over. Blackberries are abundant at 10 cents per gallon.
In Taylor county, the finest crops for many years have been raised.
In Harrison county, the wheat is all stacked, mostly in good condition. A large crop of hay is being put up. Oats are light, but the corn crop promises to be heavy.
