Much Small Damage Done

The gale of Sunday did considerable small damage here.

Detroit Edison men worked all day repairing scattered loose wires but there was no major damage.

Street Commissioner Ernest Maddux has been busy today clearing up small tree limbs. Entire trees were blown down on Sheridan St., at the corner of Pearl and N. Adams St., and on S. Park St., and half a big box elder broke off on E. Cross St.

The all night rain and thunderstorm that followed sent the river level up again, well up into Riverside Park. The water level had not subsided enough to show the stone embankment before this added influx.

Michigan Bell Telephone men report no damage of consequence.
