Scouts Begin Funds Drive

The Puerto Rico-Virgin Islands Council, Boy Scouts of America, is having its annual campaign for funds during August and September, 1955. The St. Thomas District will hold its campaign from August 17 through Sept. 15. It is the only period in which funds will be solicited in the name of the Boy Scouts of America.

wherein the boys learn the true spirit of unselfishness, cooperation, fairness and mutual help. The Council, and more so, the District Committee, is organized to handle the local administration of Scouting.

It is estimated that it takes $10.00 per boy to establish a good scouting program. The St. Thomas District has set its goal for 800 boys in scouting; cub, scout and explorer.

units. How many will you help?

The Chairman of our Campaign Committee, Judge Cyril Michael, will have his workers in the field. We hope you will surely help.
