The Cabinet is now completely filled up, and consists of the following persons:
John Q. Adams, Secretary of State,
William H. Crawford, Secretary of the Treasury,
John C. Calhoun, Secretary of War,
Benjamin W. Crowninshield, Secretary of the Navy,
William Wirt, Attorney-General, and
Return J. Meigs, Postmaster-General.
These highly important appointments, have recently been made by the President of the United States-and it is pleasing to observe that they have been selected among those who were distinguished for their patriotism and firmness during our second struggle for independence. Probably no nation on earth can boast a Cabinet Council superior to ours, in point of talents, integrity and patriotism.
