One John Orman, a Labourer. who lodged in the Garret of Samuel Thatcher's house, at the Long-wharf, last Sunday evening, went to bed, ( said to be in liquor) and was the next morning found dead on the ground, under the garret door,which is in the gable end of the house. and from whence it is supposed he fell some time in the night. The coroner's inquest brought in their verdict, accidental death. We are told that he was a person of a liberal education, and understood many of the learned languages, but that an unlucky amour with a girl in Ireland. (from whence he came) together with an immoderate love of strong liquor, was the occasion of his being reduced to the servile employment, in which he had for some time before his death, supported himself.
