From England.—Papers to the 30th Aug. and verbal accounts to the 10th Sept. have been received at New-York:--They are however barren of any events of moment. The King was still alive, and apparently no worse in bodily indisposition, than for some months past. Official Letters from Windsor, of the 30th Aug. state, "that his Majesty, at intervals, was collected; that he eat heartily at breakfast and dinner; and took in the course of the day strong coffee, and drank lemonade." Notwithstanding these indications of continued life, no expectations were formed of his ever again being restored to such a state of health and sanity, as to take upon himself the cares of government; but on the contrary, an administration was forming, at the head of which the Prince Regent would be placed with all the powers and prerogatives of a sovereign, that would probably give a new tone to the public spirit of the nation. This change is corroborated by an advance in the stocks.
