The Depot,

At Col. Pifer's, about two miles from Strasburg, on the W. & S. Railroad, is now being built, and at this writing under roof, and will be completed in about two weeks. It is to be a large and commodious building, and besides the necessary room for the accommodation of trade and travel, it will contain a handsomely finished store room, where Messrs. J. Keister and Col. J. S. Pifer will open a large stock of general merchandise, about the middle of September next. This is, perhaps, one of the finest stands in the Valley of Virginia, and a fine and flourishing business must be built up by men of such thorough business capacity as Messrs. Keister and Pifer.
