Full Text

A year ago Andy Johnson made a great display by an order that no office holder should be taxed for political purposes. That order was issued in the hope of defeating Republican candidates and rests that the President even then was plotting against his friends. Today, the Randall-Doolittle clique, which acts only by order of the President, demands the ejectment of all office holders who eat Andy Johnson's bread and refuse to contribute to the support of his schemes. Consistent,—Harrisburg Telegraph.
