A CARD.

The Workingman's Party held a meeting, recently, and spoke of putting Charles P. Dorman, the present Democratic nominee for Inspector of the Ninth Ward, upon their ticket for Councilman.

Mr. Dorman most respectfully declined but nevertheless they intend putting him on.

He wants it understood that he did this, not because he was no friend to the workmen, as he is a workingman himself, but that when his name is up on one ticket he did not consider it right that it should appear on another.
