Miss Marie Kochman went Sunday to Pierz to stay a few days with friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Barringer and family of Clotho were Sauk Centre visitors Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Reid O'Gara and children motored to Benson Sunday to visit with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. L. H. VanCamp made a stay over the week end with the lady's sister, Miss Leta White.
Mr. and Mrs. Lammers of Stillwater will enjoy the coming week at the Sprague cottage on Sauk Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. R. B. O'Connell and son, Bobby, were week end guests at Randall with some friends at a lake cottage.
Mrs. E. K. Pangburn and Miss Marie Pangburn took Miss Edith Pangburn to Staples where the latter lady will teach school.
Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Rydholm autoed to Upsala Sunday for a visit with the gentleman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Rydholm.
Leonard Larson of Rockford, who spent the past two weeks visiting with his mother and brother at Little Sauk, returned to his home on Saturday evening. He was accompanied by his mother, who will spend the winter in Rockford.
Mrs. W. J. Barron and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barron motored to the Cities Sunday on business and to attend the Minnesota State Fair.
Mrs. E. J. Murphy and children, Vincent, Vivian, and Daniel, of Felton, spent last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Plant and with friends.
The Misses Levine and Ruth Fowlds of Wisconsin were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reid O'Gara last week. Miss Fowlds is a teacher in Alexandria.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Barringer and family of Clotho and Nels Anderson and daughter, Miss Sigrid, spent Sunday afternoon at the Godfrey Anderson home in Birchdale.
Mrs. Al Hesse and daughter Monie, Mrs. L. O. Gray and daughters, Beverly and June, and Mrs. George Bowman motored to Alexandria Friday and spent the afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Chris Larson and son of Minneapolis came to Sauk Centre Saturday and remained until the afternoon of Labor Day visiting with the former's father, Jeppa Larson.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and son, Orrin, and Miss Sigrid Anderson left this Thursday morning for St. Paul, where they will spend a few days visiting at the home of their sister, Mrs. I. W. Davies and family. They are also attending the State Fair.
Arthur Vogel, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Vogel, left this Wednesday evening for St. Cloud where he will become a student in the St. Cloud Business College. Ernest, his brother who is employed in the Granite City, arrived Wednesday to take him to his school.
Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Austin moved into the city for the winter from their summer cottage on Ox Lake, near Brainerd, the past week end.
Mrs. Chas. Marshall, Mrs. Austin's mother, who has resided with Mrs. Minnie Mullin during the summer, moved to the Austin residence for the winter.
The Misses Ellen and Jane Hedin, sisters of Mrs. H. G. Rydholm, left Friday noon for St. Paul where both will teach school. Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rydholm, accompanied them to the city. He returned home Monday. The ladies have spent the summer in this city with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hedin.
Mrs. May Fiesler and daughter, Jean, with six or eight girls, who were Sorority sisters of Miss Fiesler's, autoed to this city from Minneapolis last week end for a couple of days. Mrs. Fiesler made her stay with Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Hansen, while the girls enjoyed an outing at one of the Conklin cottages on Sauk Lake.
Miss Edith Wruck has secured a school near Mahnomen and will leave Friday to enter upon her duties.
Philip Mingle of Rochester arrived Sunday to visit with relatives and friends in Sauk Centre and Osakis for the duration of a week.
Last Thursday morning an eight pound boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. L. Stelzig at their home. Mother and baby are reported as doing fine.
Mr. Knud Halvorson and daughter, Olga, of Borup, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. H. Aslagsen of Ulen, Minn., arrived last week Thursday evening in this city at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Nelson. They went to North Fork Friday where they attended the funeral of the former's brother, Ole H. Heieie, which was held that afternoon.
Irvin Jenc and his mother, Mrs. Anna Jenc, motored last week to Rock Haven, Saskatchewan, Can., to stay a month with relatives. Mrs. Irvin Jenc will leave day after tomorrow, Saturday, for St. Cloud to spend the remainder of the month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Heraley. Mr. Heraley will arrive in this city this Thursday for a few days and then accompany Mrs. Jenc to St. Cloud.
