The High School Dramatic Contest
The second annual dramatic contest of the local high school will be held Friday evening, December 12th. This contest is similar in nature to the one held last year. The various contestants have been preparing for the past seven or eight weeks for the evening's program.
The object on that evening will be to have out of town judges select the one who does best in order that that person may represent the school in a district contest. In the Southwestern Iowa district contest, the object will be to select winners in the humorous, the dramatic, and the oratorical classes who will go to a state contest where the state champion is selected.
The numbers appearing on our local program the evening of December 12th will be the following. Besides these numbers, there will be several musical selections.
