Hingham last year gave 17 majority to Gerry, this year 70 majority to Strong. Charleston last year -65 maj. to Gerry, this year 29 maj. to Strong. Sherburne last year 6 maj. to Gerry, this year, 62 for Strong. Groton last year 100 maj. to Gerry, this year 52 maj. for Strong. Townsend last year 33 maj. to Gerry, this year 48 maj. to Strong. Concord last year 1 federal maj. this year 30.4 Medford last year 68 fed. maj. this year 86. Watertown last year 74 dem. maj. this year 7 only. Hingham is in Suffolk, the rest of the above towns in Middlesex Charleston and Townsend; in Middlesex, which gave a majority for Governor Strong, have given a small majority for the democratic list of senators. All the other towns in that county, from which we have heard as giving a majority to Strong, we believe have given a majority to the federal list of senators The towns of Stoughton, Randolph, Roxbury, Milton, Dorchester, Medfield, Weymouth, Braintree and Quincy, in Norfolk county, gave Mr. Gerry, last year, a majority of 452 votes this year only 6 votes.
