For the Watchman of the South.

WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN HEAVEN?

Many things, no doubt, of which we can form no conception. This praising the Lord which we know of, constitutes a large part of their employment. Praise is not only the employment, it is the bliss of the inhabitants of heaven. It is the gushing love forth in the bosom of each. Praise is not only deep, inexhaustible fountain, the employment, it is the bliss of the inhabitants of heavenly existence we on earth enjoy and have. Expression we measure do the depth of their bliss. Rather work the bliss of angels is of the. Now angels even we if sanctuary. We shall catch something of the holy joy which rolls through that sanctuary. Surely Christians ought to spend more time in practising the notes of that song which they are to sing forever. For the advantage of the church and the world—for the increase of their own joy, and for the brightening of the evidence of their acceptance in Christ, they ought to be heard, with the Psalmist, calling upon their own souls, and upon the universe, to praise the Lord.
