Xylophonist Gives Concert At P. C. A.

Miss Marietta Huron of Columbus, O., was heard in a xylophone concert Thursday evening at the Putnam Catholic Academy. Miss Huron played a program notable for its exhibition of virtuosity and its novelty. The concert was given for the faculty, students, alumnae and friends of the school. Miss Huron was introduced by Miss Margaret Sauban of New York and France, a senior at the school. Miss Huron's program was as follows: Gypsy Love Song, Herbert; Overture "Mignon," Thomas; Serenade, Schubert; Frasquita-Serenade, Lehar; By the Water of Minnetonka, Lieurance; Indian Love Call, Friml; Fantasia--Mocking Bird, arr. by Stubbe; Danny Boy, Londonderry Air; L'Invitation a la Valse, Weber; Mother Machree, Olcott; Souvenir, Drdla; Aloha.
