PROSCRIPTION LIST, No XXIII
"off with his head—So much for Buckingham."
Edward Dyer has been removed from the situation of Clerk in the Post Office, in this City, which he has filled with unsurpassed industry, assiduity and fidelity, for several years. There can be no pretence of a cause for his removal, but a suspicion of his not being a faithful slave of King Caucus.

Those accustomed to look into our columns, for the list of letters remaining in the post office of this city, are informed that it is transferred to the National Republican. We are not surprised at this. After the sacrifice of Gales & Seaton, it was not to be supposed that any valuable patrons would be permitted to the presses that have exposed the true character of the Hero and managers of Cin. Gaz.
We understand it has been determined to make great changes in the Northern and Eastern Post Offices, and that numerous applicants who just left the city, with the assurance that their commissions will be sent after them. The changes will be announced here, and the only channels through which we can receive any information of them are through papers of the State in which they are made. We shall be glad to see that distant Editors will take the trouble to collect the various removals which may be made in their States, in order that we may see the progress of the reforms which we hope to be made in the Post Office Department, in order to place it, as Duff Green assured us was the intention of Gen Jackson, under his own immediate control
