Asks Federal Appropriations For Erecting And Equipping Hospitals in Areas Too Poor to Build For Themselves.
Jan. 30.-(AP) - He asked Congress $7,500,000 to $10,000,000 for a national program for construction of approximately in areas needing such unable to pay for them. He made the request in a message—this being his Roosevelt said foundation: that even this program will bring substantial in the saving of lives, of workers and increase and vigor of the people.
