Columbus Students Visit World Office

Thirty-nine pupils of the Harrison Avenue School with teachers and parents as chaperones spent Friday in Atlanta on a one day whirlwind sightseeing jaunt.
The group visited numerous businesses on Auburn Avenue, including the Atlanta Daily World plant, the University Center, local parks, the Grant Park Zoo and the Cyclorama.
Adults accompanying the kiddies from grades two, three, four and five were Mesdames E. A. Sherard, Adrian, Estes, Mattie Reese, Mary Walker and Caldonia Johnson.
