WOLF POINT — Gerald Dodd, manager of Dodd Drilling Company, has announced the formation of a new company, with A. H. Johnson and Jack Roberts as partners, in an expansion move. All three are Wolf Point residents and are calling the new company the Hi-Line Drilling Co.
They have purchased new equipment in this expansion move and have increased their scope of work to cover irrigation, stock, domestic and municipal well drilling, as well as pump supply and service.
The new company will handle all types of wells and will have its offices located at the White Star Laundry.
Dodd who has been in business in Wolf Point since he came here eight years ago from Elk City, Okla., has himself drilled most types of wells, including test drilling for seismograph companies. He has also held a long-term contract with Knife River Coal Mines, drilling in tests for coal.
The Dodds live in the Airport addition to Wolf Point.
