Directors Will Meet to Select Name City's Club
The board of directors of the East Moline's Business Men's club will hold a meeting next Tuesday afternoon for the purpose of determining what they will recommend to the club in regard to affiliation with the National Chamber of Commerce.
It is generally thought that the members will vote to join the national organization and in the event that it does the name will be changed from the East Moline's Business Men's club to that of East Moline Chamber of Commerce.
Ralph E. Stoltz, secretary of the club, has a number of plans under consideration for the betterment of the city, and these will be submitted to the board of directors at the meeting Tuesday.
