Full Text

QUEBEC, April 20.

We have from the best authority an account of humanity and charity in two priests of the Church of Rome, one, the Rev. Mr. Louisareaux, on the South side of the river St. Lawrence, who sells seed wheats to the inhabitants at five shillings the minot; the other is the Rev. Mr. Alinat, in the adjoining parish of St. Gervais, who parts with his as fast as it comes in, upon credit, and trusts in Providence for his support until the next harvest. May this stimulate Christians of all denominations to do likewise.
